What Happen's Next?
📄 Referral Received
Every referral is carefully reviewed by our team. We then contact the referrer and/or the young person to arrange an initial telephone consultation.
💬 Initial Consultation
During the consultation, we take time to understand the young person's circumstances, support needs and future aspirations so we can determine the most appropriate next steps.
✅ Assessment & Outcome
Our assessment panel reviews each referral to ensure Coastline Futures is the right provision and can provide the appropriate support.
The referral and assessment process typically takes 1–2 weeks.
Eligibility Criteria
Coastline Futures supports young people aged 16–24 years who would benefit from additional support
to progress towards education, employment, training or independent living.
This may include young people who are...
Not currently in education, employment or training (NEET)
Facing barriers related to confidence, wellbeing, life circumstances, social isolation or previous educational experiences
Care-experienced or care leavers
At risk of becoming disengaged from education, employment or training
Seeking a more personalised and supportive pathway towards their future goals
Attending school, college or training but struggling to engage, attend or progress
